Is MedCheck a substitute for medical advice?
NO. MedCheck is an informational tool ONLY. It does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always consult your doctor, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare provider before taking any medication.
How accurate is the pill identification?
MedCheck uses Google Gemini AI to identify pills based on shape, color, and imprint. While it is accurate for many common medications, it may not identify all pills correctly. Always verify with a pharmacist.
What medications are supported?
MedCheck can identify most common prescription and over-the-counter medications available in the US and many international markets. It works best with clearly visible pills and readable labels.
Are my medication photos kept private?
Yes. Photos are sent to our AI service for analysis and are not stored on our servers after the result is returned. All processing is done in real-time. We take health data privacy very seriously.
Is there a daily limit for scans?
Yes, to ensure service quality, there is a daily limit of 50 scans per device. The limit resets every 24 hours.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Purchase History on your device, or contact Apple Support directly.
